How does a group get to Silvestre Nosara and what does Silvestre coordinate for arrival?
By Air: Fly internationally to Liberia Airport (LIR) or San José (SJO), then connect via short charter flight to Nosara Airport (NOB)
By Road: Private transfers can be arranged from Liberia, approximately a 2.5-hour drive. We recommend a 4WD for those choosing to self-drive.
Our team coordinates all arrivals, including private transfers from the airport, flight timing, and transport to the property.
Can Silvestre coordinate staggered arrivals for guests flying in from different locations?
Yes. Our team coordinates private transfers individually, so guests arriving on different flights or at different times are met and transported separately. Charter flights to Nosara Airport can also be arranged.
Do guests need a car during a retreat or group stay at Silvestre?
No. All transport during your stay is arranged by our team, including transfers to restaurants, activities, and excursions. Vehicle rental is also available on request for guests who prefer to explore independently.

What’s the cancellation policy?
All retreat and group bookings are non-refundable. Bookings made within 90 days of arrival require full payment at confirmation. Full terms are provided at the time of booking.

Water Stewardship
We use an on-site wastewater treatment system that allows treated water to be reused for irrigation, reducing strain on local water resources. Guests are also encouraged to participate through towel and linen reuse programs during their stay.
Energy Efficiency & Climate-Responsive Design
Silvestre is designed to work with Costa Rica’s climate. We use energy-efficient LED lighting throughout the property, and our architecture prioritizes natural ventilation and airflow to reduce reliance on air conditioning while maintaining comfort.
Waste Reduction & Recycling
We actively separate recycling from general waste and work to reduce overall waste through mindful purchasing and operational practices. Single-use plastics are avoided wherever possible in favor of reusable or refillable alternatives.
Minimizing our environmental footprint
Every detail of Silvestre's construction has been carefully considered and designed to minimize our environmental impact. In the building, the focus is on water conservation, insulation, and energy efficiency. We use ecologically friendly and locally-sourced products wherever possible and pay our suppliers fair prices.
Responsible Product Sourcing
We prioritize environmentally friendly and biodegradable cleaning products, and use high-quality, refillable Le Labo toiletries to reduce packaging waste. Wherever possible, we source locally to support nearby suppliers and reduce transportation impact.
Architecture in Harmony With Nature
Our buildings were designed to integrate into the surrounding environment, respecting existing vegetation and the natural character of the land. Design choices emphasize durability, airflow, and long-term sustainability rather than overdevelopment.
